Director of Primary Education Appointment

Mater Ecclesiae are delighted to announce the appointment of their first Director of Primary Education.

Philip Bates joins the Mater Ecclesiae team with over 20 years of Catholic school leadership experience, including two Catholic headships here in Lancashire. In recent years, Philip has served as a Section 48 RE Inspector for the Diocese of Lancaster, chaired West Lancashire's District 8 Inclusion Hub and regularly worked alongside Lancashire's Monitoring and Intervention Team, repeatedly delivering school improvement across a variety of settings.

Peter Duffy, Chief Executive Officer of Mater Ecclesiae, commented: "This is a critical appointment in the next phase of our development as a Catholic MAT.
